Who We Are

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE

Luke 4:18

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Our Mission

Unwavering Faith's Mission is to reflect Christ's unconditional love, building a ministry rooted in faith, hope, and compassion. Through our actions, words, and worship, we strive to embody the grace and mercy of God, serving others selflessly and spreading the message of God's love to all corners of the world.

Unwavering Faith is a ministry that develops and teaches all believers in the ART of Prayer, Intercession, Deliverance, and Healing. While praying effectively, believers will become Unwavering in their FAITH, making prayer a LIFESTYLE.

We believe that when we pray, miracles, signs, and wonders occur; we are Christ’s ambassadors on this earth. As we pray, we believe that the manifested presence of God is displayed in our lives, our families’ lives, our churches, and the varying communities on this earth. Our prayers have a Global Impact!

History Of Unwavering Faith International Outreach Ministries

Over fifteen years ago three friends, Lenora Stephens, Tracy Jenkins, and Patricia Hicks, being early risers started their Saturday mornings with prayer.  Accepting their call as Intercessors, they realized that this call was greater than just praying for their families, it would consist of praying for churches, communities, and even the nations. During their faithful prayer time, a seed was planted, conceived, and needed to be birthed.

On February 8, 2019, during a fellowship God moved on the hearts of the three friends to extend their Saturday morning prayer time to others who also had the same burden/passion for prayer. On February 9, 2019, they opened their prayer line, and other ladies from different states joined them in praying and interceding for others. What started out as Saturday morning prayer turned into a daily 5 a.m. prayer call.

As they gathered daily for the 5 a.m. prayer, seeking for direction and instructions, God impressed upon the hearts of two (2) of the ladies, Pershawn Burgess and Mary McCormick, a name for the prayer call, Unwavering Faith International Outreach. The vision came to life and developed the motto “Prayer is a lifestyle.”

These ladies heard the voice of God and took a leap of faith. They are foundational members of the ministry that has now expanded internationally.
